Tennis can be taught a number of ways. I adapted a methodology that offers an “atmosphere of discovery”. Progressions to develop stroke mechanics and racket skill techniques, positioning, simple spatial recognition and age-appropriate level of understanding of the game are emphasized. I know that some of the things children learn is by their own “discovery”. Young players develop more interests when they discover and realize that the sport of tennis is fun and challenging. I designed our approach to help the young players develop with measurable results by adapting programs I know are helpful, among which but not limited to are: Tennis IQ Builder, the Spanish way of training, and tested USTA and USPTA programs.
I don’t stop there. Equally important is creating an atmosphere to help build character and to constantly reinforce and remind the players the importance of academic achievements.
Other than being a Mine Engineer and Geologist , I develop a keen interest in the realm of how to prepare for my kids college education and founded
College Planning & Research Group (CPRG) in 1990. My athleticism reignited my love for tennis and founded
CPRG Tennis in year 2001. As an experienced
Certified College Planning Specialist (CCFS), I have been helping families tackle the high cost of college here in the US. With the right preparation, academic and athletic scholarships can be had. Helping competitive student-athletes get properly positioned for possible collegiate sport recruitment (in NCAA, NAIA, etc) is part of what I do. Since then my program is:
"Junior tennis with college scholarship objectives!"
I am humbled and thankful to the Lord for allowing me the opportunity to help kids grow up with a positive and healthy atmosphere by way of tennis, the sport of a lifetime. I invite you to contact me by email at
